The staff was really kind and helpful. We felt very welcome and enjoyed the hotel's bar and restaurant. The pool was very nice and pleasant.
The wifi connection wasn't free as written in the hotel's description. If there was a free safe in the room/hotel it would be nice. Air condition is not free. The feeling was that they want to charge for everything they can
Cheap, and well located for the beach in Kefalos.
The location, Kefalos, was a little too quiet for a young couple in my opinion. I would have preferred to stay in Kos town and venture out to the nicer beaches in the day but stay where there is more choice and more atmosphere int he evenings. However, the local area restaurants, cafes, tavernas served excellent food at a reasonable price which was much harder to find in Kos town.
I liked that the room was cleaned every day, the pool was very clean and the pool bar was well stocked.
We weren't greeted in a very friendly manner. There was a problem with our booking through Booked.net and the hotel seemed to infer it was our problem which was a little frustrating. The second issue was with the cleaners knocking at 10am to clean our room and rather than wait for us to answer, they barged right in and we were still in bed! I did think that 10am was quite early for a room clean but it's good they were keen I guess! Lastly, my friend and I spent a lot of money in the pool side bar but one day we brought back drinks from outside, which we shouldn't have done, but we felt the hotel was overly cross about this and didn't deal with it in the best way.
Family owners location rooms resort area food everything been 9 times and will probably go twice next year
The hotel was spotlessy clean, room was serviced every day except Sunday. Family run hotel and we were treated like old friends. The Wednesday barbeque was great value for money and the food was lovely, everyone joined in for a really good evening.the pool area is great with a lovely snack bar.
The Hotel is a bit off putting from the outside as the main entrance is actually on the side so what you see from the front is a bit drab.
5Th visit so obviously enjoy. Lovely family run, very relaxing and clean.
We liked the fact that it is close to the sea and that it has a pool. It is very clean
We did not like the fact that the first two nights we were put in a room that was not really part of the hotel ( a dark and suffocating place were normally staff or family sleeps) and that no compensation was offered E.G. free breakfast, a discount,... Whatever. We did ask for free airco - the only room where you really need it for those two days, and got it -after negociating... Another point: we thought we booked at the hotel with the same name, a bit higher up the mountain ...
It was nice and quiet hotel, runs by the hole family. Nice and friendly people. Very clean rooms. Good snackbar at the hotel.
The beds where hard to sleep on.
quiet ,but near to all the beaches and restaurants. very good
Shower was a bit iffy.
Friendly staff, bar prices good value, close to beach and tavernas, quiet area.
Twin room, bathroom and balcony really very small. Shower curtain didn't reach the shower tray so bathroom was very wet every day. Not much clothes storage space, no shelf in the wardrobe just hanging rail and floor of the wardrobe. Would suggest couples should book a triple room or studio/apartment, pay a little more and have a much more comfortable stay.
Friendly people, clean, very good value for money, a good base to explore the surrounding countryside by bike/scooter.
Poor breakfast (cold eggs, standard ham/cheese and Nescafe), but then we didn't expect more for the price
